Supervisory 101 (Ideal for new managers/supervisors):
A supervisor needs to manage, lead, and encourage employees to perform at a high level and as a team. Being strong technically does not always make for the best leader. Understanding the basics of management is a crucial building block for new supervisors. This training focuses on the fundamentals of management and what a successful supervisor looks like.

Workplace Communication
Why is communication important? Effective communication is vital to gain trust, align efforts in the pursuit of goals, and inspire positive change. When communication is lacking, important information can be misinterpreted, causing relationships to suffer and, ultimately, creating barriers that hinder progress. Every communication involves (at least) one sender, a message and a recipient. This might sound simple, but communication is actually a complex subject. Focus on workplace communication, with tactics applied to any communications in and out of the workplace. This training focuses on the 7 core communication principles.

Conflict management/resolution
An effective conflict management training program is about quelling conflicts before they start instead of dealing with the backlash of on-the job squabbles, equipping employees with all the knowledge they need to engage in open dialogue and respect coworkers' viewpoints.

4 steps To resolve Conflict: CARE

  • Communicate. Open communication is key in a dispute. ...
  • Actively Listen. Listen to what the other person has to say, without interrupting. ...
  • Review Options. Talk over the options, looking for solutions that benefit everyone. ...
  • End with a Win-Win Solution.

Anti-Harassment Training (or Positive Work Environment): Can fulfill annual compliance requirements.

Anti-harassment training is training that employers provide for their employees to teach them  about unacceptable behavior in the workplace. This training is designed to prevent gender, religious, age, marital status, sexual, racial/ethnic, and physical harassment in the workplace and to create a comfortable environment, so employees aren't put in uncomfortable situations.

Workplace Mental Health: Navigating Mental Health in the Workplace (targeted at managers and supervisors):

As Supervisors and HR pros, we straddle the line between care and compliance. This training will provide additional context and information on the current mental health landscape and how that is intersecting with the workplace. Often we have tried to fill the gap and provide counseling and advice for employees, but that's just a stop-gap for the type of mental health support they need to get well and stay well. AND Constantly trying to fill that gap is a drain on HR staff, creating yet another layer of people who need support. It can become a vicious cycle of trying to help, but failing to solve the problems long term. Furthermore, most managers and supervisors are not licensed counselors and could be exposing themselves or their organizations to potential liability. This training provides clarity, tactics and tools to be better prepared to lead through these issues in the workplace.

What we eat and why it matters to your Mental Health
A Registered Dietician answers some big questions regarding how what we eat ties greatly to our mental health and wellness goals. She will answer common questions, debunk myths, discuss various eating habits and how our daily habits at work and in our personal lives play a huge role in our diet.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness gives employees permission and space to think — to be present — leading to mental agility, resilience and self-awareness. In addition, mindfulness can reduce emotional exhaustion, increase openness to new ideas and develop compassion and empathy. This training gives employees mindfulness techniques to apply and use in their daily lives as well as why it is important to do so. Mindfulness habits are scientifically proven to help them both personally and professionally, become more present and be ready for challenges they may face.

Managing Depression
