Northstar Employee Assistance Program, seeks to continuously improve and provide the best user experience for our companies and clients. To provide options outside of traditional EAP and Student Assistance Programming or counseling, we are provided tech, tools, and resources that everyone can access.
Our newest tool added to the quiver is Tess!
Northstar EAP continues to adapt and offer revolutionary mental health technology for those that don't have access to mental health services or prefer not to seek traditional mental health counseling. Our goal is to make available all forms of mental health support for everyone.
Tess bridges the gaps by using an person-centric approach: by simply texting the phone number, you’re signed up right away. Instantly available on a 24/7 basis, Tess monitors the employee/student and learns their emotional patterns during conversations.
Upon request, the employee/student can connect on-demand, or request to schedule a session, with a virtual or in-person EAP counselor, EAP counselor from the Northstar network. Completely autonomously, Tess delivers emotional support, psycho-education and mental health coping techniques that are personalized for each person.
